Nice to meet you, I'm Cortney—an organic gardener and single mom of three. I help goal-driven individuals and families grow nutritious, high-value food in any space, so they can take practical steps towards improving their health, food choices, and grocery budget—

without feeling overwhelmed.

Two years ago, I wanted to walk away from the one thing I’ve been passionate about for years...

After nearly two decades of growing my own food, I was completely overwhelmed and ready to quit. The joy I once felt in my garden had faded, replaced by frustration and burnout.

But I had the garden of my dreams—so why did I want to give up so badly?

28 raised beds, 3.5 acres, 230-year-old farmhouse.

It looked perfect from the outside. But behind the scenes, I was spread too thin, exhausted, and constantly feeling like I was failing.

I was trying to live someone else's dream.

I was holding onto a homesteading vision my ex-husband and I once had—but it wasn’t my reality anymore.

I was now a working, homeschooling, single mom, and the truth was:

I couldn't manage it all. I was comparing myself to big homesteaders on social media, wondering where I went wrong.

I was stuck in a system that didn't work for my life.

I had to ask myself some hard questions:

  • Did I want my chronic health issues to return?

  • Did I want my grocery bill to skyrocket?

  • Did I want to depend 100% on stores for lower-quality produce?

  • Did I want to lose the bond and daily learning opportunities I built with my kids?

  • Did I want to give up my biggest stress reliever I once had?

  • Did I want to give up the incredible flavors and deep satisfaction of homegrown food?

Did I want to give up the greatest gift I’d been given—the ability to grow pure, nourishing food with my own hands, just as generations before me had done?

The Breakthrough:

I downsized my garden to fit my life—and that changed everything.

Selling the farmhouse and land during my divorce felt like the end of a dream, but it was a blessing in disguise. Instead of quitting, I had the opportunity to move to a smaller, more manageable space and return to the kind of garden that truly fit my life—just like the one I had before upsizing with my ex-husband.

I applied everything I’d learned from two decades of hands-on gardening experience:

  • I built a garden that focuses on growing high-value food efficiently, not just growing more.
  • I designed my garden to work for me, not the other way around.
  • I've reconnected with the joy of gardening—without the overwhelm.
  • I built my garden on my own—proving that you don’t need endless time or heavy physical labor to grow your own food.

Most importantly, my garden became a seamless part of my daily life again. No more burnout, no more feeling behind—just a system that naturally fits into my routine, providing fresh, homegrown food without stress.

What No One Tells You About Growing Your Own Food…

You can watch all the gardening videos, read all the books, and follow all the advice online…

But no one teaches you how to make gardening a simple, daily habit that enhances your well-being—rather than just another chore on your to-do list.

I Found Out the Hard Way:

You can have the most beautiful garden...

But if you don't learn strategies to make it fit into your daily life, with...

  • A system that maximizes the space you have
  • Efficiency that keeps gardening from taking over your life
  • A clear plan to grow high-value food
  • Real, hands-on experience—without endless trial and error
  • A simple way to preserve food without spending hours canning

...it won’t help you take control of your food, health, and budget in a lasting, sustainable way.

Now, I Teach:

How to maximize their space, grow high-value food efficiently, and take control of their health, budget, and food security—without the stress and burnout.

  • If you think you don’t have enough time, space, or experience to grow your own food—you do.
  • If you feel overwhelmed by gardening, it’s not your fault—you just need a system that works for your life.
  • If you think growing your own food isn’t realistic for you, I’m here to show you that it is.

So their garden will work for them, not the other way around.

Healthy, homegrown food is within your reach—take the next step...

Whether you're a beginner or experienced gardener, I'll guide you step-by-step to create a thriving space that fits your lifestyle and increases your self-sufficiency.
